Recruitment service

Permanent Recruitment

Permanent hires shape your organization for years. Our permanent recruitment service (sometimes called direct-hire recruitment) takes you from a clear role definition to a short list of screened candidates you can interview with confidence. The successful candidate joins your payroll directly from day one.

When permanent recruitment is the right fit

  • You are adding a new permanent position or replacing a departing employee
  • The role needs specific technical, professional or leadership skills
  • Your internal team doesn't have time to source and screen applicants
  • You want a consistent, documented selection process

Who it's for: Employers filling ongoing full-time or part-time positions, from early-career roles to experienced professionals and managers.

Business benefits

  • A clearly defined role profile before sourcing begins
  • Candidates screened against your must-have criteria
  • A focused shortlist instead of a pile of resumes
  • Support through interviews, offer and acceptance

What's included

How we deliver this service

  1. Role intake and scoping

We meet with the hiring manager to confirm responsibilities, must-have and nice-to-have qualifications, compensation, work arrangement and the selection steps you plan to use.

  2. Job posting and targeted sourcing

We prepare a clear, inclusive job posting that meets applicable posting rules, then search for suitable people through job boards, professional networks, referrals and direct outreach where appropriate.

  3. Structured screening

Applicants are assessed against the agreed criteria through resume review and screening conversations. Where you request it and the candidate consents, we can coordinate reference checks or other pre-employment checks.

  4. Shortlist presentation

You receive a concise summary for each shortlisted candidate, covering relevant experience, motivations, availability and salary expectations. We only share a candidate's details with you after they have agreed to be put forward for your role.

  5. Interview and offer support

We schedule interviews, collect feedback from both sides, and help you present an offer that reflects the role and the candidate's expectations.

What we'll need from you

  • A hiring manager available for an intake call
  • An approved budget or compensation range
  • Timely interview feedback
  • A signed service agreement setting out fees and terms

We don't guarantee hiring outcomes or timelines, because these depend on the role, the market and your selection decisions. We will give you a realistic plan and regular updates.

Common questions

How are permanent recruitment fees structured?

Fees and payment terms are agreed in writing before any search begins. We'll explain the structure during the intake conversation so there are no surprises.

Can you recruit for roles outside major cities?

Often, yes. Tell us where the role is based and whether it can be remote or hybrid. We'll be honest about how readily candidates can be found for that location.

Is permanent recruitment the same as direct hire?

In practice, yes. In both cases the candidate becomes your employee from their first day, rather than being employed through an agency.
