Temporary Staffing

When workloads rise, an employee goes on leave or a project needs extra hands, temporary staffing gives you capacity without a permanent hiring decision. We agree the assignment details with you, find suitable workers, and stay in touch throughout the assignment.

Common questions

Who employs the temporary worker?

In a typical temporary staffing arrangement, the staffing company employs the worker and assigns them to your workplace. The exact responsibilities of each party are set out in the staffing agreement and depend on the province and the assignment.

Can a temporary worker become a permanent employee?

In many cases, yes. The terms that apply if you hire a temporary worker permanently are set out in the staffing agreement and must comply with provincial employment standards.

How quickly can a temporary worker start?

It depends on the skills required, the location and how many workers are available. We'll give you a realistic estimate once we understand the assignment.
