Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, debone and portion meat to specification
- Operate saws, grinders and other processing equipment safely
- Package, label and store products
- Keep work areas sanitary and follow food-safety procedures
- Serve customers at retail counters (retail roles)
Qualifications
- Meat-cutting or butchery experience is preferred; training is available for some positions
- Knowledge of food-safety practices
- Ability to work in cold environments and stand for long periods
- Food handler certification is an asset

Day and afternoon shifts; some weekend work in retail roles.
Compensation and benefits
The expected compensation for this position is C$18.25–C$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
