Responsibilities
- Frame walls, floors and roofs
- Install doors, windows, trim and cabinets
- Read plans and take accurate measurements
- Build and remove formwork
- Follow site safety rules and keep work areas clean
Qualifications
- Carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction
- Carpenter trade certification or apprenticeship is an asset
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Own basic hand tools and safety boots
Skills
Working arrangements
Site-based work; Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Compensation and benefits
The expected compensation for this position is C$20–C$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
