Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret drawings and electrical codes
- Troubleshoot faults and test circuits
- Install wiring, panels, lighting and controls
- Follow lockout and electrical safety procedures
Qualifications
- A provincial certificate of qualification as an electrician, or registration as an apprentice, as required in the province of work
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Residential, commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Own hand tools (for most positions)

Working arrangements
Site-based work; full-time hours with occasional overtime.
Compensation and benefits
The expected compensation for this position is C$20–C$48 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
