Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and welding procedure specifications
- Weld using MIG, TIG, stick or flux-core processes
- Cut, fit and prepare materials
- Inspect welds and correct defects
- Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment
Qualifications
- Welding certification (for example CWB tickets) or completion of a welding program
- Welder trade certification or apprenticeship is an asset (required for some positions)
- Experience with one or more welding processes
- Ability to read technical drawings

Working arrangements
Shop-based or site-based work; day and afternoon shifts.
Compensation and benefits
The expected compensation for this position is C$22–C$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
